Brief Description of Library and its services: Chaucer College was established in 1992 to provide Japanese students with foundation studies in English and the liberal arts. The Library provides resources for the academic needs of the students, and also serves as a resource for the University of Kent and the community in the area of Japanese Studies. The Library has a collection of both English and Japanese books, including reference works and literature, and subscribes to several Japanese/Asian Studies journals, and several Japanese newspapers.
